With the further easing of Corona Virus restrictions coming into force this Saturday, we should now be able to hold a WASC meeting. As a result, I have re-scheduled the June monthly meeting to be held on Thursday (18 July) at the sailing club.
Due to the latest developments in the Corona Virus, unfortunately our sailing club now has no choice in cancelling the rest of the summer racing season for all events. As a result, yacht racing on Wednesdays, Fridays and the weekends are cancelled along with “Off the Beach†classes. (Junior Sailing and Learn to Sail programs have already been cancelled). This is consistent with most other sailing clubs nationally.
Due to an unfavourable weather forecast it's been decided to postpone the Ladies Day race scheduled for this Sunday. An alternate date will be advised in due course.
