Winter Yacht Sailing This commences on Saturday 30 April with the Achenar series (scratch start, spinnaker & non spinnaker) and alternates each week with the Commodores Cup (handicap start & non-spinnaker only). Please lodge your entries online via the club website.

She Sails Races The final “She Sails” race for Yachts is on Sunday 20 March at Wangi,with a handicap start commencing at 12 noon. Please come along and give the girls ago and have a fun day. Commodores Call - November 2021

Sailing is now underway Pointscore racing for yachts is now underway which has been strongly welcomed by sailors. Just a reminder that the onus is on skippers to comply with the ever changing COVID restrictions. Now that travel restrictions on Sydney & Central Coast residents has been lifted, we are able to welcome back a few more boats and crews.

Commodores Call - September 2021

Commodores Call September 2021 Welcome to the new COVID Sailing Season. As you are no doubt aware, we have had to cancel quite a few events including the Winter Retreat, the Working Bee, the Open Day & Champagne Breakfast and the last Achinar & Commodore’s Cup Winter races. In addition, with ongoing COVID restrictions,the NSW Youth Championships in which Wangi was running a racecourse on the long weekend in October has also been cancelled.

Cancellations due to Covid Restrictions 27/8/2021

Hi All Unfortunately, as the COVID lockdown has been extended in our area until the 10th of September, the sailing club have had to cancel the Working Bee this weekend and the Open Day Celebrations & Champagne Breakfast the following weekend. Furthermore, the presentation of trophies for the winter racing has been postponed to a date to be confirmed. The pointscore racing for yachts is due to commence on Saturday 11 September, however this will depend on what happens with the COVID restrictions.
