Commodores Ball
Wangi Sailing Club is organizing this fundraiser for the Cancer Council and is on Saturday the 9th of April. It will be at the Rathmines Theater starting at 6.30pm.
We are fortunate to have Iain Jensen, Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist, America’s Cup and Sail GP sailor, and more importantly a cancer survivor coming along as our guest of honor. Iain will share his story with us all along with some exciting video clips.
Guests will be given free champagne on arrival and a couple of bottles of wine per table during the evening and a fully catered meal. Further drinks can be purchased at the bar during the evening. We also have popular band, who will provide live music and entertain us for the rest of the night.
Please come along and support this worthy cause and have a fun night.

Moth States
The Wangi Sailing Club will be hosting the NSW Moth State Championships commencing on Friday 1 April to Sunday 3 April. We haven’t been able to run any major regattas at the club since COVID hit which has had a severe impact on the club’s revenue, hence we are keen for this regatta to go ahead. We expect around 30 to 35 boats and need both on water and off water volunteers to run the event.

Sailors Meeting
The annual sailors meeting is set done for Sunday 27 March commencing at 9am in the sailing club. This is an earlier start time than in the past, as we did not want to clash with the RSL club’s AGM held later that morning.If you have any items you would like to put on the agenda, please advise our Vice Commodore Colin CainASAP.

This will be a face to face meeting commencing at 7pm.
