Hi All

Due to the latest developments in the Corona Virus, unfortunately our sailing club now has no choice in cancelling the rest of the summer racing season for all events. As a result, yacht racing on Wednesdays, Fridays and the weekends are cancelled along with “Off the Beach” classes. (Junior Sailing and Learn to Sail programs have already been cancelled). This is consistent with most other sailing clubs nationally.

Winter Yacht Sailing however is still scheduled to start on Saturday 2^nd of May but this will be reviewed closer to the date.

In addition, the Sailors Meeting set down for Sunday 5^th of April is postponed to a yet to be confirmed date. It is also likely that the Sailing Club’s Presentation Night will need to be postponed, however this is yet to be confirmed.

I apologise for this, however the worldwide situation is extremely serious and we all need to play our part to try and contain this virus, so I hope you can all understand.
