Insurance and Disclaimer

• Entrants sail at their own risk. Injuries to entrants and damage to boats can occur.
• Neither the organising committee nor any other party involved in the organisation of the race shall be held liable for any damage or injury which may occur to any person or property whether ashore or afloat in conjunction with the event.
• For each competing boat valid third party liability insurance must exist for the race  with a minimum cover of $5,000,000. A copy of policies must be available for inspection prior to start of race.

Death or injury may occur to persons participating in yacht races, or sailing to or from the race course area, due to, but not limited to, falling from the vessel, drowning, collision with another vessel, capsize, hull, gear, or rigging failure, grounding or by the actions of yourself or other people, or the action of wind and waves upon the vessel whether forecast or not forecast.

RRS 4: Decision to Race. The responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone. By signing this entry form the owner/charterer agrees to be bound by all the rules, sailing instructions and conditions of the regatta, and acknowledges the possibility of, and accepts the risks associated with yacht racing, the perils of the sea, the seaworthiness or otherwise of any vessel participating, and the actions or omissions of any of the Race Committee and Officers and employees of Wangi, Wangi RSL Amateur Sailing Club in conducting the event.

Skippers Signature - An entry by on-line registration system is deemed to have been signed by the owner/skipper.
