189^th Australia Day Regatta

The 189^th Australia Day Regatta welcomes all yachts, trailer-sailers, and multi-hull yachts with a current Category 7 (or higher) equipment audit certificate. To enter, all sailors must be active financial members of a yacht or sailing club affiliated with Australia Sailing. The registration fee for the regatta is $40.

Boats will be placed into one of three divisions (White, Green, Blue) and assigned handicaps by the WASC Handicap Committee. These details will be available on the Club's website (AU Day Regatta Participants) and posted on the notice board at the Clubhouse.

In the event of adverse weather, a decision regarding the race will be made by 10:30 AM on the race day. Announcements will be broadcast on VHF Channel 77 and updated on the Club's website.

After the race, there will be a sausage sizzle at Wangi RSL, along with entertainment, the announcement of the regatta results, and the distribution of prizes. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each division based on handicap, with additional prizes possibly awarded at the organising authority's discretion.
